!ART PARTY! Snowy Trees - Reasha Wolfe
Not one to long for eternal summer, Penticton artist and snowboarder Reasha Wolfe is celebrating winter’s arrival with her small collection of paintings of snowy trees to be shown at Propeller through December. The paintings are Reasha’s second attempt to capture the magical forest feeling with a batik-style method of layering spray paint and tape. Ironically, this style of art-making is environmentally irresponsible and will likely stop here.
These paintings are interpretations of photos taken at Apex Mountain, Mt. Seymour and the Elaho Valley north of Squamish. The wintery snapshots offer a peaceful feeling in the holiday season.
Everyone is invited to the opening party on Tuesday December 7th at 6:30 pm, at Propeller, 309 Main Street Penticton.

The Vicious Cycles! The Lizard People! Halloween's got nothing on this gig!
The Vicious Cycles make at pit stop at Voodoo’s, as they tear through town on their way to ravage the prairies, with the Lizard people hot on their tire tracks.
Snarling engines, dark goggles, high handlebar sickle riding hoodlums going flat out on their murdercycles, The Vicious Cycles include ex and current members of Raised By Wolves, James T Kirks, and Les Tabernacles for starters, and these howling hellcats have shared the stage with The Von Zippers, Knucklehead, The Misfits, and Andrew WK just to name a few.
The stage will be warmed by local folk rockers Exes & Allies before being pounded into oblivion by the Lizard People, and the Vicious Cycles. Who will be left standing when the dust settles?
Doors at 8:00pm, Bands at 8:30pm. Tickets $9 at the door. This is a licensed event, kiddies.
